Our approach to privacy

oakarc.co aims to collect only the information needed to answer enquiries, fulfil orders and provide delivery updates. Review this template with your privacy adviser before publishing.

What we collect

Depending on the checkout and support tools you connect, this may include your name, delivery address, email address, phone number, order reference and limited payment status. Do not store full card numbers or security codes.

How we use information

• To process and fulfil an order through the connected providers;
• To send delivery updates and order communications;
• To provide customer support, returns and warranty assistance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed with payment, fulfilment, delivery and support providers. Name the providers and retention periods in the final privacy notice.

Cookies and analytics

When Stripe confirms a completed order, this site sends Google Ads a purchase conversion containing the transaction reference, order value and currency. Advertising storage is set to denied, and the Google tag is configured not to set or read advertising cookies or send page-view events. Anonymous store statistics

We count aggregate daily views of the product, checkout and confirmation pages, plus clicks on purchase, bundle, colour and checkout-step buttons. To estimate unique visitors, a random per-tab ID is kept in that tab’s sessionStorage so a page reload does not count the same tab again. The server stores this ID with the UK-local date for up to 30 days to calculate the selected dashboard period. A separate live counter records the ID and last activity time while the tab is active; tabs stop counting after 45 seconds without a heartbeat, and expired live records are removed during a later request. These IDs are not names or account identifiers and do not identify a person across separate tabs or devices. We do not use cookies or collect names, email addresses or payment details for these statistics.

You can object at any time using Turn off anonymous usage statistics or your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The preference is carried through the store flow in the page URL without cookies. This controls both daily statistics and the live session count. Google Ads conversion measurement described above is separate.
